Upgrade components
Upgrade components can be added to weapons, armors trinkets, gathering tools and weapons. They provide an extra benefit or impact while the equipment in use. They can be purchased from vendors or other players, looted, obtained as rewards, or made using crafting materials. Upgrade items can be cosmetic effects in addition to offering bonus points for attributes.

Upgrade components include inscriptions, enhancements, and infusions. They are not generally accessible to the general public and are only available on ascended equipment or certain weapons that aren't ascended from the Factions Campaign. You can retrieve infusions and inscriptions from equipment by using an Infusion Extractor Device or by salvaging using the Black Lion Salvage Kit or an Ascended Salvage Tool.
Unlike other upgrade items Phoenix Boxes, unlike other upgrade items, can be traded while still connected to the item they are upgrading, and are able to be used again after being reclaimed. These upgrade items can be used to improve weapon and armor quality without spending Dilithium. They can increase the chance that the item will be upgraded to a top quality upgrade.
Upgrade components can be added to an item, however, the original one is destroyed (except for legendaries and ascended equipment). item upgrade are only available to upgraded items that have an identification level of zero or higher. If you add an upgrade to a weapon already equipped with an upgrade suffix or prefix, the item will be referred to as it would appear on the game screen (for instance, adding the Radiant insignia to Canthan Armor creates Canthan Armor Minor Vigor). A player is limited to three upgrade items at once.
Glyphs
Glyphs are a useful accessory to any item since they provide numerous unique advantages and boosts. Some Glyphs increase the number of affixes an item has, increasing its power. These glyphs are available through dungeons, and some be found in certain World Tier 3 areas. It is important to keep in mind that glyphs are only available to players who have created a root-dungeon with the same level of depth.
To make use of a Glyph, you must first build it from components and connect them using anchors. Then the component will automatically align itself to other components and paths in the same layer. If you don't want to create the glyph using components, you can employ a combination of paths and anchors. Then, drag an element in close proximity to the highlighted component to snap it into place.
Some glyphs require certain conditions to be fulfilled for example, 25 Dexterity in a specific area on the Paragon Board. Certain glyphs require a certain number of Primary Stat Nodes to be activated, which can also be difficult to achieve. Some glyphs have a radius that increases as you level it up.
Glyphs are able to be applied to various weapons and items, with the exception for those belonging to a specific class. Some of these glyphs also have conditional requirements, such as having a certain number of damage from Dexterity or Attack in a specific location on the Paragon board.
The Defend Glyph has a 5% chance to block enemy attacks. It also has the chance of 15% to make the Hero vulnerable for two turns.
Some glyphs may also be applied to restricted use tools, like the Black Lion Chest and Trading Post. These glyphs can count towards the Combat Mechanic achievement.
The most popular glyphs used in the game are the attack ones that increase Artifacts' ATK substats by a fixed value. These glyphs are especially useful for classes that use weapons with a range, such as Warriors or Rogues. The Exploit Glyph renders enemies who attack the Hero vulnerable to damaging effects.
Reroll tokens
Reroll tokens are tokens that can be used to reroll the results rolled while taking an Action. They are removed after the reroll has occurred. Reroll tokens are accessible in a variety of ways, like raids and dungeons or by participating in skirmishes. They can also be purchased at the shop or from other players. They are especially useful in dungeons and trials, because they allow players to play a reroll of rewards from the end chest.
For items in the range of 1, there are values for recycling points. If an item is recycled it will add a specific amount of points to the upgrade gauge. This value is based on both the item's rarity and level. Additionally the upgraded item won't retain its level when rerolled and the cost for recycling an upgraded item goes up with the level of the item.
Alternatively, a player can use reroll tokens in order to make an upgrade item rerollable, but this will not bring the item back to its original state or provide its original extra statistics. This is a great option for those who want to reroll an item or piece of equipment that they don't love but want to keep in their collection.
Three types of upgrade coins are available in the game: reroll, randomly generated, and upgrade. Each type comes with a variety of subtypes. For instance, reroll tokens come in three different levels: rare, enhanced and legendary. Each requires a product of the appropriate level to create the new item with that quality.
To make use of reroll tokens, click on the Satanic or Angelic item in the inventory and select "Reroll Token". Select the type of token you want to use. item upgrade include Item, Weapon, Misc, 1hgun, 2hgun and Focus. The Item token can be used to create an Item in any quality. A Weapon or Misc token can create a new weapon from the same faction.
There is also a chance that the item could be upgraded into a new item with more level and same additional stats. This is likely to happen if the item is in the Non-droppable Pool or was transferred to it as part of a Franchise Card.
